Convivial get-together to close the funding year

The last regulars’ table of the summer semester took place on Thursday, 22 September. Despite the semester break, about 20 active scholarship holders and some alumni came together at Atzinger in Schellingstraße. Some new acquaintances were made over Bavarian food and good conversation. We are already looking forward to the next regulars’ table on 22 October! An invitation will be sent out in the course of the next few weeks.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

It’s just incredible… thanks to the strong solidarity of the active members and alumni of the TUM Deutschlandstipendium, we JOINTLY won the challenge to collect 9000 Euros within 8 weeks, even 3 weeks before the deadline.

Only because of you, 10 ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS will be awarded in the next funding year!!! Therefore, a big THANK YOU!!!

Now we want to step it up a notch and show how many donations we can get together beyond the 9000 Euros until the end of the Challenge (August 17, 2022). Therefore, we have decided to let open the donation campaign….

Open regulars’ table on 22.6. in the Augustiner Biergarten

The TUM Deutschlandstipendium Aktive-, Alumni- & Förderverein e.V. invites you to its second “real” Stammtisch this year. The Stammtisch will be open also for non-Deutschlandstipendium scholars or members and take place on the 22nd (Wed, 22.6., starting at 18.30). If the weather is good, we will meet in the Augustiner Biergarten north of Hauptbahnhof.

We will post our location here on LinkedIn. To help find us, we will have an open umbrella at our table(s).

You are welcome to join us spontaneously; registration is not necessary.
Last month we were more than 40 people – let’s see if we will be even more this time 🙂
We are looking forward to meeting all of you!

In case of thunderstorms we will reserve some places indoors.

First in-person Stammtisch in 2022

What a delight to have had our first in-person Stammtisch in such a long time!

On Sunday, we met in the Augustiner Biergarten with association members, many TUM Deutschlandstipendium scholars and other interested students of Technische Universität München.

We are already looking forward to our next Stammtisch, which will be held on June 22 at the same location. We counted around 45 people this time. Let’s see if we can beat that number next time!

A huge thank you to all who have forwarded our invitation!

Open regulars’ table on 22.5. in the Augustiner Biergarten

The TUM Deutschlandstipendium Aktive-, Alumni- & Förderverein e.V. invites you to its first “real” Stammtisch this year. The Stammtisch will be open also for non-Deutschlandstipendium scholars or members and take place on the 22nd (Sun, 22.5., starting at 18:00). If the weather is good, we will meet in the Augustiner Biergarten north of the Hauptbahnhof.

This open Stammtisch is a great chance to connect with scholarship holders as well as alumni and to find out about the Förderverein. Perhaps you are interested in staying in touch with the Deutschlandstipendium beyond your TUM studies or you can imagine becoming a Deutschlandstipendium supporter yourself? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you to get all the information you need and ask your questions directly to the Förderverein members and its board.

You are also welcome to join us spontaneously. Registration is not necessary. We are looking forward to our first major in-person event in a long time!

Exchange with Karlsruhe DStip Network

“Great MINTs think alike” was the implicit motto of last week’s meeting with our ‘colleagues’ from the Netzwerk Deutschlandstipendium Karlsruhe e.V. They connect and support Deutschlandstipendium scholars from all universities in Karlsruhe and therefore had many valuable experiences to share with us.

We appreciated the exchange and look forward to seeing each other grow. Hopefully, some of us will be able to meet in person someday!

Seven great and one (visually) small mind.

Certificate awarded

We received this nice recognition for our work a few weeks ago. Many thanks to TUM for organizing this year’s hybrid festive event! Let’s hope we can celebrate the Deutschlandstipendium in person again next year!

A huge thank you to our members and donors too, of course!

If you also want to support talented and promising students at TUM, now is exactly the right time to get in touch and donate for the next academic year.

Over 900€ collected – half a scholarship through our Spendentruhe

At this year’s festive event of the TUM Deutschlandstipendium, we again set up the traditional donation chest for the collective scholarships under our proven motto “Giving something back together”. Together with the donations from the kick-off event in December, more than 900€ were collected – the equivalent of half a scholarship!!! We thank everyone for their participation!
